How to Replace a Hood Hinge Without Removing the Hood on 2007 Chrysler Aspen?

Changing a single or both hood hinges won't require you to take off the hood; they can be replaced separately. Open the hood first and then prop up the side that will have its hinge changed. Remove the cowl grille from the engine next and make a mark on each bolt and hinge with a grease pencil or something similar. Take out the fender support bolt and after that unfasten the plastic rivets and sleeves to remove the wheelhouse splash shield. Afterward, unscrew the nuts connected to the hinge on the hood. Inside the fender, get rid of the two hinge bolts. In the end, slide the hinge forward and take it off the fender rail.
