How to Service and Repair a Hood Latch on 2007 Chrysler Aspen?

To work on the hood latch, remove the push pin fasteners and then remove the upper radiator shroud. Following this, mark the place for installing the latch with a grease pencil or similar tool. After that, remove the three bolts that connect the hood latch to the top of the radiator crossmember. In the end, take off the hood latch from the crossmember and cut off its release cable.
