The hazard warning switch can be serviced by first unconnecting the negative battery cable, waiting two minutes, then continuing. nearest part, unplug its positive battery cable from the main battery. After that, take off the center console cover and disconnect the wiring harness connecting the switches in the center console, by pressing the locking tabs on the outer gang and gently pulling the switches away. After that, press the tabs on the hazard switch and take the switch out from the center console cover.
