If you see moisture in the weep area, apply 15-18 psi from the cooling pressure tester and monitor the weep, as long as the weep is unchanged, don't change the pump for this issue. Should the weep hole/reservoir slot show a continuous flow of coolant indicating the shaft seal needs replacement, you should exchange the water pump after reviewing the entire analysis.
