2007 Dodge Caliber Cruise Control Switch Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Install the Cruise Control Switch and Driver Airbag in the Steering Wheel on 2007 Dodge Caliber?
A: You will find the speed control switch inside the steering wheel. Wires from this switch go through the clock spring unit beneath the air bag module. First, link the electrical connector to the switch, then screw in the 2 speed control screws and secure them with 1.6 Nm (15 in. lbs.), so the seal is above the switch. Then, connect the horn switch and the three fasteners and connect the electrical connector to the Clock Spring. Once the sensor and the board are installed, install the driver air bag. Be sure not to connect the battery negative cable at this step. Attach the battery back in using the air bag System Test method described in Restraints, close the hood and then confirm both the vehicle and the system are working properly.
