2007 Dodge Caliber Intake Manifold Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Remove and Replace an Intake Manifold on 2007 Dodge Caliber?
A: Before taking out and putting in a new intake manifold, first wipe down the gasket locations and add a new gasket. Then, set the intake manifold into place and fasten the bolts to 25 Nm (220 in. lbs.). The fuel rail assembly should be mounted to the intake manifold, the bolts tightened to 23 Nm (200 in. lbs.) and then the correspondent injector connectors are properly connected. Look for damage in the quick connect fittings and change them when necessary and then join the fuel supply hose to the fuel rail assembly, pulling on the connector to make sure it is secure. Once ready, join the negative cable to the battery, circulate the cooling fluid, put on the air cleaner housing and set the engine cover in place.
