In a fold in floor design, release the fuel system pressure, provide ventilation and avoid any sources of ignition before servicing the fuel tank. Unplug the negative cable, drain the tank and remove the fuel pump module lock ring with tool #9340. Take care of the fuel spillage and dispose of the O-ring.
