The first thing you should do to fix and repair fuel injectors in a 2.4L engine is to remove the fuel rail. Unplug the wiring connector for each injector, then place the fuel rail so that all injectors are easy to reach. Rotate the injector, making sure the clip is still attached and pull it out of the fuel rail. Check the O-ring carefully; if any damage is found, it needs to be changed. Every time you reuse the injector, cover its tip with a cap and if the injector clip is damaged, replace it. Make the same measurements again for every remaining injector.
