2007 Dodge Caravan Power Steering Reservoir Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Maintain and Repair a Power Steering Reservoir for a 2.4L Engine on 2007 Dodge Caravan?
A: Place the power steering reservoir in its proper location on the engine before doing any service and repair. After that, attach the reservoir mounting bolts and nut, applying a torque of 12 Nm (105 in. lbs.) to them. After that, put the supply hose into the reservoir and slide the hose clamp over the reservoir so it is securely installed, positioned past the bead on the fitting. After that, top off the power steering components, then run it a bit to ensure no leak is present.
