  A: Make sure to disconnect the negatively linked battery cable before starting any service or repair on the windshield washer reservoir. Uninstall the fresh air housing from the outside of the engine compartment, then separate the washer hose at the connector sitting ahead of the cowl grille, always leaving the connector on the hose from the fresh air plenum. Following that, take apart the washer hose from the hose clips on the front guard and loosen the filler tube screw. Raise and support the car with a hoist or jack stands and next remove the right front wheel and tire. Take the left right front wheelhouse splash shield off and move it so that it doesn't get in your way. To empty the washer fluid, unclip the hose from the front (outboard) washer pump port and put a temporary jumper hose directing the fluid into a clean container. To remove the connectors from the pump and sensor, slide the red lock away from the connectors and then press the black tab on top. Open the hood and remove the screws holding the reservoir to the radiator shroud. Uncertain how to lower the reservoir, so you need to do that.
