To service the front cross-member, disconnect the battery, siphon off power steering fluid and raise the vehicle. Remove front wheels, outside tie rod ends and stabilizer link nuts. Use Special Tool 9360 to separate the ball joint, and remove the steering gear and engine cradle bolts, lowering the cradle as necessary.
