To service the 42RLE Automatic Transmission use Mopar(R) ATF+4 fluid and replace the filter. Clean the magnet in the oil pan and then drain the fluid. Put a new filter, replenish the sealing patch and put the pan back on. Add fluid, start the engine and check level when reached to normal temperature.
