2007 Dodge Magnum Driveshaft Center Support Bearing Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Service and Repair a Driveshaft Center Support Bearing on 2007 Dodge Magnum?
A: When service work is done on the driveshaft center support bearing, first take off the propeller shaft since it has a "skip-tooth" spline design to keep it in one place; use only installed marks to help in putting it back together. After that, put installation reference marks on the front and rear shaft segments. Pull apart the front and back parts of the propeller shaft at the bearing and get the boot out. Push off the driveshaft center support bearing from the rear shaft segment with an arbor press and Bearing Splitter 1130.
