How to Maintain and Fix an Evaporator on 2007 Dodge Magnum?

You need to first remove the HVAC housing assembly to service or repair the evaporator core. Take apart the HVAC shell as much as needed to get to the air conditioner's evaporator (1). Lift the evaporator and the foam seal gently out from inside the lower half of your HVAC housing (3). Should the original foam seals require it, remove them from the tapping block of the A/C evaporator and change them if they are damaged.
