How to Effectively Service and Repair an Evaporator on 2008 Dodge Magnum?

The first thing to do when servicing the evaporator core is to remove the housing assembly of the HVAC system. Remove the HVAC housing whenever you need to get to the A/C evaporator (1). Take care to lift both the A/C evaporator and the foam seal (2) out of the lower section of the housing (3). When necessary, pull out the foam seal in the A/C evaporator's tapping block and see if it's properly shaped. If you notice any damage, replace the seal.
