How to Service and Repair a Hood Latch on 2007 Dodge Magnum?

The hood latch has to be serviced by disconnecting the battery negative cable. Take off the appearance covers of the underhood on the left and right. Note the location of the latch and then unscrew and draw the latch off to release the release cable. Last but not the least, take out the hood latch of the vehicle.
