2007 Dodge Magnum Seat Motor Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Maintain and Fix a Seat Motor on 2007 Dodge Magnum?
A: Start the power seat motor service or repair by cutting off power from the battery negative cable. First, remove the seat on the front tilt side where the motor is not working, then take the seat cushion and pan off. Come apart the connector for the motor wires and unbolt the motor from the seat adjuster prior to taking it out. Be cautious when handling the height adjust motor if the motor doesn't function and the seat is not completely in the raised position, since the spring in the seat adjuster may make the motor rotate or push the assembly upwards as soon as you remove it. Before unhooking the battery, the height adjust motor needs to confirm the power seat is fully up. Professionals should remove the affected seat first, then the seat cushion and the pan. Remove the electrical connection, take off the fasteners that attach the motor to the seat adjusters, unscrew and remove the washer and screw from the shaft and take the motor from the seat adjuster.
