To service the timing chain, disconnect the negative battery cable, drain the cooling system and remove the coolant container. Raise the vehicle and remove the splash shield, accessory drive belts and lower the vehicle. Finally, get the timing chain cover bolts, cover, gasket and front crankshaft oil seal removed.
