  A: Servicing and repairing the headlamp washer pump requires that you disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable first. Before cleaning, remove the washer fluid from the car's reservoir by unhooking the windshield washer hose from the front pump and using another hose for drainage. After that, take out the washer reservoir. Release the high pressure headlamp washer pump hose by pushing down on the latch and pulling away from the hose end. After that, separate the high pressure headlamp washer pump motor electrical plug (marked as 1). With the reservoir upside down, pull the pump straight up out of the void and release it from the mounting grommet, making sure not to harm the reservoir's bottom or create a hole in the reservoir. At the end, remove and throw away the pump grommet.
