2007 Dodge Nitro Intake Manifold Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Install an Intake Manifold and Its Components on 2007 Dodge Nitro?
A: Begin by setting the intake manifold seals first and then installed the intake manifold onto the engine. Facilitate the connection of the intake manifold by holding it with retaining bolts and tighten them according to the required order to 12 Nm (105 in. lbs.). It is important to tighten the throttle body correctly so that the throttle plate does not fail. After that, set the throttle body-to-intake manifold O-ring in place and add the four bolts to secure the throttle body to the manifold, with each bolt tightened to 7 Nm (60 in. lbs.). Attach the cable of the electrical thermostat, put on the fuel rail and mount the EGR tube once the throttle body electrical connector is joined. After that, set in place the ignition coil towers and attach the electrical cords for the MAP Sensor, CTS Sensor and those towers. Hold the top oil dipstick tube in place with its retaining bolt and make sure to attach the Vapor purge hose, Brake booster hose and Positive crankcase ventilation hose. Fill the coolant, connect the resonator assembly and air inlet hose and link the negative battery cable once more. Scan your vehicle and use the Relearn ETC option to recalibrate it.
