  A: Before you start servicing the fuel tank, drain the tank and let the pressure from the fuel system. Unfasten the 2 Fuel Filler Door Fasteners and take the Gas Cap and Fuel Filler Door away. After that, take out the 4 Fuel Filler Tube Panel Fasteners and remove the Fuel Filler Tube Panel. Remove the Fuel Filler Tube Fastener and tie straps and finally take the harness connector apart. Take out the Fuel Filler Tube Grommet and pull off the harness connector once more. After disconnecting the lines, take off the center fuel tank strap. Place a transmission jack under the fuel tank and unscrew the Evaporative Emission Vent Line from the tank as preparation for lifting it. Take out the Pump Harness Connector and the Fuel Feed Line and Fuel Return Line from the Fuel Pump. Next, take out the Fuel Pump Lock Ring and get rid of the Fuel Pump Assembly.
