2007 Dodge Sprinter 3500 Parking Brake Cable Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair a Parking Brake Cable for a Single Rear Wheel (SRW) on 2007 Dodge Sprinter 3500?
A: First, verify the park brake cable does not cause any tensions or rub against anything while it's being routed for an SRW. Attach the park brake cable to the frame, then tie it securely with all the appropriate straps. After that, connect the brake cables to the lever and then fit the park brake shoes where needed. Then, install the rotor and close the rotor set screw. After that, attach the disc brake caliper adapter and tighten it to 80 Nm (59 ft. lbs.) plus 40° more. After that, secure the rear wheels, make sure the park brakes are set and lower the car.
