To service the steering shaft, disconnect the ground cable of the battery, remove the airbag module and lock the steering wheel straight. Then, take off the steering wheel, Clock Spring, combination switch and ignition lock connector. Finally, remove the universal joint and bolts holding the steering shaft in place, and remove it from the cab floor.
