    After installing the rubber grommet in the cab floor, insert the steering shaft through it and check it's full seating. Then bolt the steering shaft universal joint onto the steering gear shaft until it lines up the hole with the radial groove in the steering gear. Bolt the steering shaft to the cab floor and tighten them to 21 Nm (15 ft. lbs.). After that, tighten the fitted bolt to the universal joint on the steering gear shaft to 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.). Next you should reinstall the spring for the brake pedal to the steering column, reconnect the electrical connector to the ignition lock and install the combination switch. Then install the Clock Spring, Steering Wheel and electrical center. Next, connect the ground cable back on the battery.
