Install the catalytic converter in the I-Pipe/muffler unit, then put on a new gasket to make a seal against the exhaust manifold. Put in the flange bolts and tighten them to a force of 29 Nm (21 ft. lbs.). First, place the front components and check their alignment with everything below, then fasten the band clamps to 55 Nm (40 ft. lbs.). You should not tighten the clamps too far that they hit the middle part of the hourglass block, because this will weaken them and cause them to be replaced. Start up the motor and look for any holes in the exhaust, repairing what you can find.
