Mount the flange bolts and apply just 29 Nm (21 ft. lbs.) of torque to each bolt. Start from the front of the system and line up each component so there is clearance around all underbody parts and band clamps are tightened to 40 ft.-lbs. You shouldn't force the top and bottom band clamps to touch the center block because this will damage the clamps and make them need replacing.
