How to Service and Repair a Rear Wiper Arm on 2007 Jeep Compass?

First lift the rear wiper arm and hold the top of the wiper blade up off the window to lessen the tension between the spring and arm on the output shaft. Take off the plastic cap covering the pivot end and once you have, take out the nut that holds the wiper arm to the motor shaft. I recommend you do not use a battery terminal puller while removing the rear wiper arm, since it might damage the car. Finally, rock the wiper a bit to disconnect the pivot end from the output shaft and remove the whole wiper arm.
