To service and repair the Drive Belt Tensioner for the 3.7L engine remove the accessory drive belt and then remove the tensioner assembly from the engine front cover. The automatic tensioner should not be disassembled, because it is serviced as an assembly (except the pulley on the tensioner), with high spring tension.
