How to Service and Repair a Hood Latch on 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Sharpie or grease pencil will work well to mark the hood latch's position on the upper radiator crossmember. After that, take out the two nuts that attach the hood latch to the upper radiator crossmember. In the end, remove the hood latch cable from its connection to the hood latch.
