2007 Jeep Wrangler Antenna Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Detach an Antenna from a Radio on 2007 Jeep Wrangler?
A: Before removing the radio antenna, cut off the battery negative cable connection. After that, take the glove box out of the instrument panel and reach through the opening to unplug the two antenna cables at the line connector. Unscrew the antenna mast from where it is attached to the antenna body base on the right of the outer cowl panel. Using the trim stick, loosen the edge of the trim cover on the antenna base so it becomes detached from the antenna body base. Open the assembly by unscrewing the three screws on the edge of the antenna body base. Pull the antenna body's half of the cable out by the grommet from inside the cabin pushing it out of the hole in the right inner cowl panel. Now, while you are outside the car, draw the antenna body and its cable out through the opened hole in the right outer cowl panel.
