2007 Jeep Wrangler Brake Light Switch Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair a Brake Light Switch on 2007 Jeep Wrangler?
A: Begin by putting the car's battery negative cable away and removing the battery connection to stop the air bag from deploying by chance. To start, take off the steering column opening cover from the instrument panel. Pushing the brake pedal down, turn the brake lamp switch housing counterclockwise until the tabs on the switch locking collar fit into the keyed hole in the brake lamp switch mounting bracket. Get the bracketed switch and move it back as far as it will go to pop it out, then release the brake pedal. At the end, take out the wire harness connector from the brake lamp switch.
