How to Effectively Service and Repair an Alternator on 2008 Chrysler 300?

To service the alternator, remove the negative battery cable, remove the generator drive belt and unsnap the plastic cover from the B+ mounting stud. Then, remove the B+ terminal nut and connector and finally, remove the generator by removing the mounting bolts.
