You should first open the hood and stand it upright to service the hood cable. After that, remove the screw from the pull handle, lift the handle out of the clamping mechanism in the cover and pull the hood pull cable off the handle. After that, remove the cable grommet from the bulkhead, remove the upper frame cross member and take off the clip from the frame cross member. Then, take off the cover and pull out the hood latch. Pull the hood cable from the area between the headlamp and the upper cross member.
