How to Install a Convertible Top Weather Strip Using Butylband on 2008 Chrysler Crossfire?

Cut a 60 mm (2.36 in.) piece of Butylband(R), place it on each A-pillar with the left size showing and match the right side to it. Usually, the Butylband(R) is placed on the support strip, making sure there are 20 mm (0.79 in.) of contact on each end and a 10 mm (0.39 in.) overhang. After that, use a bead of Butyl(R) on the A-pillar, allowing 10 mm (0.39 in.) of extra seal over the support strip. Put the weather strip on the header and pillar and press it down into the flange.
