How to Remove and Repair a Hood Latch on 2008 Chrysler Sebring?

To work on the hood latch, first release it, open the hood and place the prop rod under the front of the hood. To help installing the hood latch, mark its guide spot on the radiator support crossmember using a grease pencil or something similar. After that, remove the nuts holding the hood latch to the upper radiator support crossmember and lift the hood latch from the vehicle. Remove the remote release cable from the hood latch when you are done.
