How to Maintain and Fix the Hood Cable on 2008 Chrysler Sebring?

First, remove the hood latch, then you can start working on the hood cable. After that, take off the left front cowl trim panel. After that, take out the two screws holding the hood release handle to the inner cowl panel. Slide out the clips pinning the hood cable to the left inner rail and then loosen the rubber grommet below the dash panel. Then, take out the push-in fastener on the hood cable and pull the cable loose from the protective panel.
