2008 Chrysler Town & Country Seat Heater Switch Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Maintain the Seat Heater Switch for Front Seats on 2008 Chrysler Town & Country?
A: Before serving the switch for the front seat heater, turn off the air bag system by unplugging the negative battery cable and letting it stand for two minutes. You should do this to prevent air bag deployment that could hurt someone by mistake. Keep the front face of the instrument panel center bezel free from marks during the job. Before disconnecting the battery, find the colored connectors at the back of the A/C-heater control to remember their places and avoid connecting them incorrectly during re-installation. First, get the center bezel off the instrument panel and put it on a workbench. Once it's there, remove the four screws that hold the A/C-heater control to the bezel and get the control off. When manually controlling temperature, first disconnect the negative battery wire, then note connector locations, remove the bezel from the center console and remove the four A/C-heater control screws to take the dial out.
