How to Maintain and Fix a Brake Proportioning Valve on 2008 Dodge Avenger?

In order to repair the brake proportioning/combination valve, press the brake pedal beyond one inch with a holder to disconnect the master cylinder. To make it easier, take off the air cleaner cover. Next, unscrew the valve out of the master cylinder and unhook the brake tube of the valve.
