To replace the catalytic converter on a 2.0/2.4L engine, take the vehicle up and cool down the exhaust. Apply penetrating oil to the band clamp and fasteners, remove the ground strap and loosen the band clamp. Remove rubber isolators, the oxygen sensor, flange nuts and the catalytic converter.
