To remove the exhaust manifold on a front wheel drive vehicle, first, remove the engine cover and negative battery cable. Remove the upper heat shield bolts, disconnect the exhaust pipe, oxygen sensor, remove the support bracket and lower heat shield. Finally, take off the manifold fasteners and gasket.
