    A: In order to maintain a 2.7L engine, one will need to disconnect the negative battery cable, the intake manifold as well as the passenger side cylinder head, and disconnect the electrical connection of the knock sensor. Lastly, pull off the knock sensor using a crows foot socket on the underneath of the cylinder bloc below the intake manifold.
