How to Replace a Headlight Bulb on 2008 Dodge Dakota?

Before starting to service the headlamp, fixture it is important to disconnect and separate the battery negative cable. After that, take the front lamp out of the front fender. Take hold of the back end of the bulb socket, then rotate it clockwise about 30 degrees to unlock. Lastly, take the socket and bulb together out by pulling straight on the opening in the keyed housing. Do your best not to touch the bulb glass or have it come into contact with oily material, since this will decrease the bulb's lifetime.
