2009 Dodge Dakota Headlight Bulb Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Replace a Headlight Bulb on 2009 Dodge Dakota?
A: You should disconnect and separate the battery negative cable prior to servicing the headlamp bulb. After that, take out the front lamp unit from the front fender. Hold the socket for the headlamp bulb from the back of the lamp assembly and rotate it counterclockwise about 30 degrees to disengage the lock. With the light turned off and your hand on the bulb, pull the whole socket and bulb straight out of the hole. Refrain from touching the bulb's glass and make sure it doesn't contact any greasy spots, as this will make the bulb last less time.
