How to Change an Air Filter on 2008 Dodge Nitro?

To replace the air filter, first pry up the spring clips that run up the front of the housing cover that are used to retain the cover to the housing. Next, remove the cover, releasing the housing cover from the four locating tabs on the rear of the housing. Next, remove the air filter from the housing and clean the inside of the housing, then install the new filter.
