How to Remove the Electronic EGR Valve and Solenoid Assembly on 2008 Dodge Ram 2500?

Before you remove the electronic EGR valve and solenoid, ensure to record and look at any active DTC's using a scanner. Take off the negative battery cable, then release the electrical connector from the EGR solenoid. Loose the two screws linking the EGR tube and valve assembly and take away the gasket sitting between the EGR flange and the EGR valve assembly. After that, take out the two bolts holding the valve assembly to the cylinder head and split them up. After that, throw out and remove the metal gasket found between the cylinder head and the valves.
