How to Remove and Repair a Hood Latch on 2008 Dodge Ram 2500?

Use a grease pencil or its equivalent to mark where the hood latch rests on the upper radiator crossmember. Then, remove the bolts that hold the hood latch to the radiator crossmember above. Next, detach the hood latch cable from the hood latch and then take out the latch.
