First, secure the other end of the hood latch to the hood latch cable (2). Then, attach the hood latch to the upper radiator crossmember and put in the two bolts (3) partially, just so they are in place for now. Connect the hood latch to the top of the radiator crossmember by using the marks left during removal and fasten the bolts to 11 Nm (8 ft. lbs.). If you can't see well, shift the hood to get a more comfortable view.
