  A: You should start by relieving the pressure from the fuel system when working on this sensor. After that, remove the fuel from the tank and take out the screws that hold the two fuel filler doors, along with the gas cap and fuel filler door. Pull out the four fuel filler tube panel bolts and lift off the fuel filler tube panel. With the fastener and tie straps removed, next unplug the harness connector. Get rid of the fuel filler tube grommet and unplug the harness connector again as well. Loosen the fuel feed line and fuel return line and take out the center fuel tank strap. Lift the fuel tank with a transmission jack, then take out the evaporative emission vent line before lowering the tank. After removing the fuel pump harness, pull out its fuel feed line and fuel return line. After that, open up the fuel pump lock ring and remove the whole fuel pump assembly.
