How to Service and Repair an Air Injection Pump on 2008 Dodge Sprinter 3500?

To take care of the air injection pump, first remove the negative battery cable. After that, take out the air filter housing and remove the hose connected to the air pump. Eliminate the air pump solenoid first and then work on the bracket by first taking out its three bolts and then removing the bracket. Separate the tubes between the air pump's right and left outlets and remove the air pump harness connector. At last, loosen the three bolts holding the air pump and remove the pump from the bracket.
