Before touching any parts of the xenon headlamp, set the headlamp switch to OFF and remove the negative battery cable to avoid serious harm from high voltage. Protect yourself from explosion, burning, fire from the bulb, UV light and mercury from any shattered bulbs. You should use insulated safety shoes, safety glasses and protective gloves and keep the work area away from anything that may burn and well-ventilated. Choose the bulb type and size that corresponds to the old one when swapping lamps to avoid overheating and problems. Don't touch the glass of the bulb in order to preserve its lifespan. With the xenon bulb and ignition module aligned with the keyed hole at the back of the front lamp unit reflector, push the bulb firmly into position until its lugs fit into the openings in the reflector. After turning the ignition module and bulb unit clockwise 30 degrees, push the connector back onto the xenon ignition module. Take hold of the small slits under the bottom of the light cover, fit the tabs into the main lamp, pull upward and the cover will snap into position. Next, put the black clamp back onto the negative battery terminal.
